Hell is Freezing Over

When I left my apartment this morning, I actually felt chilly. There was a slight breeze in the air, and I immediately thought, "Gosh, I better grab a cardigan!"

Do you know what the temperature was? A balmy 65 degrees.

Yep -- I have acclimated to Texas weather. Anything under 70 degrees feels cool to me. It's a shame. And terribly embarrassing.

Thing I'm thankful for: yesterday

That's nothing to be embarrassed about! I think you have a higher tolerance for cold than me, and I've spent the last year living in Illinois and Quebec.

I think we keep the apartment between 65 and 70 in the winter, but we're definitely wearing cold weather clothes long before it gets that cold. It's totally respectable, in my opinion :) Plus, there is a breeze.

when i'm in my house and it's 68, i'm totally wearing layers and slippers and turning on my electric blanket. but if i'm driving around and it's 68 outside, i'll have the ac on. for me, i think it just depends on if the sun is out.

so the real question is, "was it sunny that morning?"
