Things I Didn't Know I Missed
When you move, there are people and things you know you miss. They are the things you are conscious of. Then there are things you didn't realize you missed. Here are the things about Georgia I didn't know I missed until I went for a visit last week:
- Black people
- Eastern Standard Time
- Trees! Oh, the trees!
- Georgia 400
- Living in a house, not an apartment
- Coldstone Creamery
- The prettiest road in Carrollton
Thing I'm thankful for: my sister Summer

Oooh! Waffle House! Definitely! Cheap breakfast food late at night. Is there anything better???
Sorry about that, I accidentally posted under a dead blog.
The things I miss while living in Quebec:
- Girl Scout Cookies
- Waffle House
- People speaking English
- Natural or even unnatural blondes (everyone has dark hair)
- Chick-Fil-A, but only on Sundays
Things I don't miss:
- Cockroaches. Everywhere.
To be honest, I haven't heard of any restaurants that could fill the Waffle House niche. There are some breakfast places, but they tend to close by afternoon. I know it's not the best quality food, but it's still a source of fond memories :)
For sure, Lori. It's not great, but it's the best late-night option anywhere. AND they have a jukebox! :)
